The home’s design is inspired by A-frame cabins and fancy mid-century modern houses. You’ll notice this in the tall ceilings and the big custom window in the living room, along with high-end materials.

The home features beautiful walnut wood, vertical grain fir, custom concrete, and brass finishes.

The client chose a green velvet couch that they loved, so the living room was designed around it. The couch sits on top of custom drawers, which adds more storage and makes the home more functional.

Since the client teaches yoga online, the 8×8 open space is perfect for her classes and fits her yoga lifestyle. The office area is part of the kitchen and includes a dining spot. It has custom storage and a light built into the wooden feature above.

The kitchen feels big and open because all the storage is low, under waist height. This design keeps the home feeling spacious.

Across from the kitchen, there’s a custom walnut storage unit under a large window. Near the front door, there’s a built-in area for hanging jackets and storing shoes.

At the back of the house, there’s a small gym surrounded by windows and a walnut ceiling. This gym makes you feel like you’re biking outside in nature.

The bathroom in this home is like a spa. It has a flush toilet, a custom-made vanity, a full shower, and floors and shower tiles made of special concrete with glass beads to make them lighter. The shower floor features walnut tiles covered with a clear coating.

The loft is tall enough to stand up in, which makes it easier to get dressed and make the bed. Heather Fritz, the co-founder of Fritz Tiny Homes, explains, “We wanted the loft to be easy to use and look great without the hassle of climbing into a cramped bed.”

So, they designed a loft that drops down so their client, who is 5 feet 10 inches tall, can stand up and easily reach her clothes.

The outside of the home is covered in steel with a decorative fir wood panel at the front. From inside, it looks like the fir ceiling and floor just continue right outside. The home is warmed by heat under the floors and can be connected to an RV hookup.
