A Little About Grace
Hello, I’m Grace! I teach yoga, help people stay healthy, and guide them to think positively. I live in a small house, love nature, and enjoy cozy, autumn days.
For a long time, life felt too busy and chaotic for me. In college, I was known for being messy and doing things at the last minute. My room was always full of things everywhere—clothes on the floor, too many little decorations, and more.
I often lost things and waited until the last minute to do my schoolwork. Even though I finished my work on time, I always felt rushed and stressed.
I used to shop for cheap clothes, spend too much time watching shows or on social media, and didn’t eat very healthily. I really wished I could be more organized and less stressed.
Then, when I was 22, my life changed a lot after my father passed away. This made me think deeply about what really mattered to me. I chose to focus on what was important and let go of the rest. I decided to live a simpler life with fewer things.
I even moved to another country for a year. When I returned to the U.S., I got rid of many of my things, bought a tiny house, and started to live more thoughtfully.
I stopped worrying about not having enough time and started to follow my dreams by becoming a coach. Now, I help others live their dreams too.
Grace and Ryan live in a bright and beautiful tiny house that’s full of plants. Their home is small—about 276 square feet—and is on wheels. It measures 25 feet long, 8.5 feet wide, and 13.5 feet tall.
The house has everything they need to live simply and work from home. They have a desk in the living room and a comfy futon couch for sitting and having guests.
In the kitchen, there’s a small fridge, a stove that uses propane, and a big sink. They also have a table that folds down when they need more room for cooking or drying dishes. They store their pots and pans on the wall to save space.
The bathroom is small but has everything: a shower, a little sink, and a special toilet that saves water. Above the bathroom, there’s a loft for storing things like winter clothes and extra food for their dogs, Tofu and Pesto.
To get to the sleeping area in the loft, they climb stairs that also have storage in them. The loft has lots of room to sit up, big windows on three sides that make it feel like they’re sleeping in a forest, and simple clothes storage that gives them privacy from the area downstairs.
