Take a tour through this cozy cabin: You’ll want to move in right away

Janice loves Maine because she spent many summer holidays there when she was growing up.

The first time she and Sean visited Maine together as a couple, Sean fell in love with the place too.

They worked with Pete Long, the original designer of Ravenhouse Cabin, and MWHoss Construction to create Cozy Rock Cabin.

This cabin is not like the usual log cabins you might picture.

Cozy Rock Cabin really fits the idea of a cabin in the woods. It’s rustic and cozy, just like its name says.

It has enough room for a small family of four to have a relaxing vacation.

The cabin has a steep, gabled roof that really stands out. Its shiplap wood siding is painted a deep Iron Gray by James Hardie.

There’s a front patio for sitting outside and a big, open grass yard.

You can enjoy the outside even at night because of the bistro lights.

Maybe you’ll want to soak in the outdoor hot tub or sit by the Breeo fire pit to stay warm on a chilly Maine autumn night.

Inside the cabin, everything is made of pine wood. There’s a dark molasses-colored leather sofa from West Elm Urban that fits perfectly against one wall of the living room.

A West Elm Brushed Herringbone throw in dark horseradish is casually draped over one arm of the sofa.

In front of the sofa, there is a Masaya Amador rocking chair and a Fedler 16-inch round pouf ottoman.

A West Elm pebble outdoor coffee table sits in the middle of this area. The space is defined by a light-colored beige woven rug that separates it from the rest of the room.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make cooking and eating easy and fun.

It has a full-sized two-door refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, a stove, and an oven.

The wood-topped kitchen island offers extra space for both individual and group activities.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with plenty of space around it. There’s also a wooden rocking chair in the room.

The walls are painted a grayish dark navy blue (called Cyberspace by Sherwin Williams).

The room looks bright and lively, thanks to the bedside and ceiling lamps and the natural light from the large, door-sized glass windows.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower with both a handheld telephone shower and a rainfall shower head.

The washbasin is like those you see in hotels, adding a touch of luxury.

Above the round mirror, there’s a Lux Lighting USA bathroom vanity wall sconce that not only lights up the space but also makes it feel airy and comfortable.

Above the bedroom, there is a loft that provides extra sleeping space. Part of the wall is painted a cool, crisp white color called Snowbound by Sherwin Williams, which has a hint of gray.

The rest of the walls, the ceiling, and the floor are left in natural pine.

The loft is also a great spot for family bonding or to enjoy some quiet time reading a book.

There’s a triangular bookshelf filled with books that people recommended during a giveaway the couple hosted on their Instagram account.

This cozy 750-square-foot cabin is tucked away in the woods in Freeport, Maine. You can rent it through Airbnb.
