In Fredericksburg, Texas, at a place called Onera, there is a beautiful tiny house called the Monarch tree house. It’s only 417 square feet, but the inside feels big and very well planned. The house looks like a butterfly and has big windows and a deck that goes all the way around a tree.
When you walk into the main room, you see tall walls and a net above that make the room feel open and cozy. Near a sliding door, there’s a dining spot with a beautiful view.
The kitchen is small but has everything you need, like a sink, cabinets, a chopping block, shelves, a small fridge, and a microwave that also works as an oven.
Climb a metal ladder to get to the loft. Up there, you’ll find an extra bed and a big net where you can relax. The bathroom has a toilet, a sink with a mirror, and a shower with small, round tiles and a handy shelf.
The bedroom has a big bed, high ceilings, lots of light, and a sliding door that opens to the deck.
The deck is a great part of the Monarch tree house. There’s lots of space to sit outside, a grill, and even a small fridge. Trees all around make it private. There’s also a fire pit and a path that goes to a creek just for you.
The house was built by Artistree Home, a group known for their creative designs and careful work. Even though the house is small, it’s a cozy and welcoming place where up to four people can stay.
