This house is built on a strong, custom-made steel trailer with three axles. The main frame is made from recycled wood and custom steel pieces. The outside is covered with strong, waterproof wood and old, wavy metal sheets.
We added special features like folding metal edges, big windows facing east, and a window that opens with a gas-powered strut.
Our bed platform slides out through this main window, extending out from the trailer like a treehouse. It’s covered by a big window above and has a mosquito net to keep bugs out.

Inside, you can see all the wooden and steel supports, and we’ve kept the natural look of all the surfaces. The floors are made of a special toasted cork, and the wood and steel used inside are recycled.
The bathroom matches the rest of the house. It has polished steel, detailed woodwork, and pipes made of copper and brass. The shower is placed at the front of the trailer and has glass panels that can open, allowing guests to feel like they’re outside in nature and steamy water.

Stella has everything a hotel guest would need—nothing more, nothing less. She focuses on high-quality materials and craftsmanship, creating a unique, small home with a low impact on the environment. The design has a special, sustainable style from the Victorian era.
Guests can really connect with nature during their stay, enjoying a special bed that rolls out for watching the stars.

Stella travels to central Gippsland in October, then to the Great Ocean Road and Grampians regions in early 2023, spending eight weeks in each place.
