The Uhu is a beautiful, tiny A-frame cabin that sits 40 feet high on steel stilts. It looks stunning from the outside with lots of windows and sharp angles, including a diamond shape on one side. Inside, it feels warm and cozy with smooth curves everywhere.
Getting to the cabin is an exciting adventure. You go up a spiral staircase inside a tube and then walk across a 20-foot bridge to reach the front door.
Inside the cabin, there’s a small closet right by the entrance, a separate area for the toilet and shower, and a kitchen with a sink, running water, and a refrigerator.
There’s also a queen-size bed with space for storage underneath and a small dining area where you can eat while enjoying a fantastic view!
Two brothers designed and built the cabin with help from an architect friend and a team of dedicated people. They all worked together over several years to create this special place.
The Uhu is ten meters up in the air, making it feel like you’re sleeping at the top of the trees in the quiet forest. The large windows offer a wonderful view of the river and the area around.
