We finished converting our van in August 2019 and used it to travel around Europe for the next 10 months. The setup inside the van is simple and practical, which makes it very reliable and easy to use. Inside, there’s a kitchen with a cabinet that has three shelves.

We used this space to store dishes, utensils, cups, and dry food. It’s also the right size for a Campingaz 907 gas bottle, which is easy to find all over Europe. We used this gas bottle with a portable cooktop, which was great for cooking both inside and outside the van.

On the kitchen wall, there’s a board where we hung cooking tools and small items. Above the kitchen, there’s a big storage area. The van also has a waterproof shower area with tiles.

We used a hand pump shower here, which let us shower inside the van—a feature not all vans have. We also kept our portable toilet here.

There’s a seating area across the van that includes the fridge and the inverter, which powers small appliances like blenders. There’s plenty of storage under the seats and in four boxes. The walls are white with nice rope decorations along the edges.

At the back of the van, under the bed, there’s a large storage space where we kept three water bottles. These bottles are easy to take out and fill up, even from places that are hard to reach with a hose. The leisure battery is also stored under the bed.

Our van handled all kinds of roads really well. Although it’s not a four-wheel-drive, it never failed us. We drove it up steep hills in northern Spain and on unpaved roads in Sweden. It’s a great part of Ford’s transit fleet.

This van would be perfect for anyone wanting to travel for a long time, as we have shown. It’s also great for short vacations or day trips in the UK. It’s a sturdy van with lots of charm and would be a great choice for adventure seekers!
