This van has been handcrafted, and inside, it looks like there are two separate living areas because of the walls and an optional curtain. When you enter through the side door, you first come to the kitchen and bathroom area.

Right in front of you, there’s a big, rustic-looking shower with copper taps and saloon-style doors.
The shower includes a Thetford porta-loo for private toilet use. The van also has a water heater, so you can enjoy hot water in the sink and shower. The kitchen features lightweight plywood cupboards with thick, reclaimed countertops, offering plenty of cooking space.
It includes a two-burner gas stove, fridge, and a large copper sink. The cupboards are organized with drawers and shelves, and there’s a big shelf over the cab for extra storage.
Many utilities are hidden to keep the space tidy. For example, the LPG tank is stored underneath the van and can be refilled at gas stations very cheaply. Inside the van, there’s a dial to show how much gas is left. Waste water is also stored under the van.
All the electrical systems are under the passenger seat, accessible through a secret panel in a cupboard. The van’s 12v system includes an inverter, so you can use standard 240v appliances.
The leisure battery in the van charges through a voltage-sensitive relay when the engine runs and also by a 100-watt solar panel on the roof. All fuses and access points are clearly marked and easy to reach in case a fuse blows.
There’s also a side window that opens and a fan/skylight that helps air out the van when you’re cooking or showering. This fan can bring in cool air too.
The van is warmed by a diesel heater which you can set with a thermostat, and it has a remote switch for easy control.
Inside the van, we’ve added lights and shelves, and hung wooden blinds that let in light but keep your space private with the help of tinted windows. There are six spotlights you can dim with a remote and two different USB charging points.
We’ve decorated with a mix of woods and upholstered the cushions to make it feel cozy. We also leave some beautiful houseplants to brighten up your new home.
We’re excited to share our latest van conversion, which is a light and airy space that feels like a tiny home on wheels. Check out more on our website at www.indigoandolive.co.uk
