The tiny house named Holz Hisla, which means “small wooden house” in Alsatian, shows off a classic Eastern France style. It features dark wood beams and special roof corners that are typical of the area.
The house has a small chimney that adds to its cozy, rustic look. There’s a porch with sturdy railings that covers the entrance, providing a spot for visitors to sit and take off their shoes or just enjoy the view.
Inside, the living room has a two-seater sofa next to a wood stove, perfect for staying warm on cold winter nights. There’s a ladder behind the front door that can be used to reach the two loft areas above.
The house includes a lot of storage space, a wardrobe, and a long shelf. There’s also a table that can fit two to four people and can be folded up to save space when needed.
The kitchen is equipped with special clay blocks that keep bottles cool. It also has a sink, cabinets, a refrigerator, and a gas stove for cooking. The counters and table are made of solid oak.
The bathroom features a waterless toilet with a stainless steel bucket and a small compartment for wood chips, plus a shower that is about 32 inches square.
Upstairs, there are two loft spaces. One is used as a bedroom and the other can be used for storage, relaxing, or as an extra bedroom when needed. The tiny house Holz Hisla is located in Alsace and is the main home of someone named Alexander.
