Lykke is a Danish word that means “happiness.” It is also the name of a cozy 24-foot tiny house on wheels. This house is designed with Danish style and the Hygge movement in mind.

It has a spacious layout with storage stairs leading to a loft. The loft is big enough for a full-size bed, and it can even fit a queen-size bed if needed.

The inside walls are painted gray with a warm feel, just like the gray glass tiles in the kitchen. The kitchen also has custom blue cabinets that add a cool touch. Here are some other cool features of the Lykke tiny house:

- The outside has LP SmartSide siding and natural cedar trim.
- There’s a special copper outdoor shower made by Wind River Tiny Homes.
- The roof is made of strong Galvalume Tuff-Rib metal.
- Inside, there are more custom blue cabinets and built-in closets.
- The countertops are made of stainless steel.
- The kitchen backsplash is made of gray glass subway tile.

- The stairs to the loft have built-in storage and are made of butcher block.
- There’s a built-in couch that can turn into a bed. It has custom upholstery.
- A custom entertainment center has shelves for a projector and console.
- The floors are made of 3/4” pre-finished hardwood.

We are really proud of how well the owner planned the placement of The Lykke tiny house. One contractor took care of the ground work like grading and leveling. They also added gravel, river rocks around the edges, and skirting after removing the wheels.

They set the frame on blocks and installed the skirting to make a crawl space under the house. Another contractor built the wrap-around deck, an awning, and a booth for the outdoor shower.

The Lykke tiny house looks great tucked away in the woods. This is a perfect example of how to set up a tiny house for a long time.

Wind River Tiny Homes helped the owner pick the right utilities and design for this setup. We’re really happy with how the owner positioned The Lykke tiny house.
