This 24-foot modern tiny house is simple and avoids too much decoration. It has clean lines and a neat layout, making it a great place to get away from noise and busyness. The Kubrick tiny house shows how well we work together with our customers.
We only design one or two houses like this each year because we pay a lot of attention to what the customer wants. The customer had a specific look in mind, which made us try new things and be creative.
The walls and ceiling are made of high-quality wood panels. Tiny homes are built to move and must be strong enough to handle more bending and shaking than a regular house.
That’s why we didn’t seal the joints between the panels. Instead, we left small gaps so the panels can move if needed. We use these gaps as part of the house’s design.
The Kubrick tiny house uses a special solar power system. It powers the lights, fans, pumps, and fridge with solar energy. But for the air conditioner and bigger appliances, it needs to connect to outside power.
The house is named “Kubrick” after a famous movie called “2001: A Space Odyssey,” directed by Stanley Kubrick. This movie came out in 1968 and was known for its new and bold designs.
It’s considered one of the best and most important movies ever. With the Kubrick house, we really tried to go far in designing it to be simple yet modern.
