The tiny house named Ostara is located near Toulouse, in a stable. It has a big window in the center that lets Nathalie and Sébastien see their horses, who often come close out of curiosity. There’s also a small cover over the door that keeps out both rain and the hot sun from Toulouse.
The house has a little staircase and a deck made of treated ash wood. You can’t miss the large round window, about one meter across, on one side of the house, or the small chimney sticking up from the roof.
You enter the house into the living room, which has a big sofa that’s nearly six feet long. It’s a great spot to enjoy the view and it’s big enough for a friend to sleep over!
To the left of the living room in this tiny house, there’s a dining room. It has a small bookcase, a wood stove, and a table where 2 to 3 people can sit. There’s also an angled staircase with built-in storage that makes it easy to get to the upper floor.
To the right of the living room, the kitchen is split into two parts and is perfect for cooking tasty meals.
At the end of the house is the bathroom, which includes a small shower (about 32 inches square) with aluminum and glass doors, and an eco-friendly toilet that uses chips and a stainless steel bucket.
Above, the mezzanine runs the length of the house. It has a bed (about 55 by 75 inches) that’s safely secured with a net across the bedroom. There’s also a large closet that takes up the bottom of the floor for storing clothes.
