Finding an affordable home in a big city like Auckland, New Zealand, is really hard! Homes usually cost about $1 million, which makes it tough for young people to buy their first house. Cam and Amanda escaped paying rent all the time by building their own tiny house on wheels.
Their house is not only pretty but also smartly built. It feels open and big, and has many cool features. For example, the furniture can change into different things, and there’s even a TV hidden in the loft!

They parked their home close to the city in a great spot. Around their home, the area has been fixed up nicely, making it a perfect place to enjoy being outside.
Cam and Amanda’s home is 24 by 8 meters (8 by 26 feet) and fits nicely into a small area, but it has everything they need. There’s a lot of room for cooking, hanging out, and having friends over. They have a comfy loft for sleeping and a really big bathroom.

They found a great place to park their tiny house close to the city, near public transportation and their jobs. They also built a big outdoor area around their home, which makes it great for both indoor and outdoor living and more fun when they have guests.

This home means Cam and Amanda don’t have to pay rent to someone else anymore. Instead, they put their money into their own place, which helps them plan better for the future.
