The Chittle family built a tiny home on their farm in Northern Washington. They want others to visit and experience a self-sustainable way of living. I’m Tessa Chittle, and these are my kids, Ava Chittle and Ada Lee Chittle. Welcome to our tiny house farm stay!
Our Tiny House is perfect for families, couples, single people, or friends who enjoy staying close together in a small space (300 sq ft). It has two private bedrooms.
One is a loft with a queen bed and a single futon, complete with stairs and safety rails. The other bedroom is on the ground floor with a queen Murphy bed and can be closed off with a sliding antique door.
The house also has a big farm table for meals and hanging out, both inside and outside. There’s a long couch that’s great for playing games and can be turned into a single bed.
We’ve stocked the kitchen with everything you need to cook delicious meals, including fresh produce and gourmet recipes. The kitchen has a small fridge and stove, and a big farmhouse sink.
We designed this space for both creative work—like writing and crafting—and personal retreats. The downstairs bedroom has a Murphy bed that can be folded up to create an open space for yoga, meditation, or exercise (we provide a yoga mat, meditation cushion, weights, and more).
You can enjoy this space while looking out through the French doors across the meadow. The bathroom is small but functional, with a tiny sink and shower.
We built the tiny house with environmentally friendly materials from local sources whenever possible, like recycled denim for insulation and cedar for the walls. This means you can enjoy fresh, healthy air during your stay.
Our small farm is just outside the historic fishing village of Gig Harbor, Washington. It’s about an hour’s drive or a ferry ride to Seattle. We’re close to state parks, hiking trails, beaches, restaurants, water sports rentals, fun activities for kids, and antique stores.
