Frye turned his old van into a small cabin in the woods. His project shows the beauty of simple living and the van life.
My name is Frye. I love life and take pictures of my adventures. I grew up in Indiana and moved 3,000 miles west the day I finished high school. For over four years, I’ve lived in my 1986 Volkswagen Vanagon, enjoying every day and adapting to challenges.
I love going on long backpacking trips, climbing rocks, and watching sunsets. You can usually find me in the Northwest, deep in the woods, working on my dream of living on a mountain.
I love making new friends and talking to people. Sometimes, I meet friends but have to leave soon, so I don’t get much time to know them well, which is sad. But the good part is that the people I meet are often doing things like me. Even if they live far away, I might see them again.
