In the green forest of Olympia, there’s a magical cabin that looks like it came out of a storybook. Jacob Witzling, a math teacher, built it. He wanted the cabin to be beautiful but simple, fitting right into the forest.
Jacob used old materials from around the Olympic Peninsula to build the cabin. The windows came from buildings being torn down, and the floor was once part of a bowling alley. Every piece of this charming cabin has its own history.
When you step inside the cabin, you feel right at home. It’s a place that meets our need to feel safe and cared for.
