Nastazia Spyropoulou loves mobile homes and smart design. She noticed many unused shipping containers at Athens Port Piraeus and decided to make a home from one.
Her home, called Cocoon Module, uses the sun to stay warm and cool, and it even has a garden on the roof. This means it doesn’t need much regular heating or cooling.

She used a 40-foot shipping container that was still in good shape. Nastazia kept the original doors on one end. You can open them to find a sliding glass door behind them.

On the other side, she added a small window in the bathroom for fresh air. The container is well-insulated, and the garden roof helps keep the inside temperature comfortable all year.

Nastazia also added extra beams on one side so that the home is easy to move. This design lets her stack another container on top if she wants more space later.
