It’s hard to believe, but this cozy cottage in Gwynedd, Wales, used to be a rundown barn.
Now, it’s been beautifully remodeled into a two-bedroom vacation home that you can rent through Dioni.
The cottage has a bedroom with two single beds on the first floor and another bedroom with a double bed up in the loft.
On the first floor, there’s also a small kitchen and a comfy living room. You can open the folding glass doors wide to see the beautiful fields and nearby mountains.
The floors are heated, and there’s a wood-burning stove that makes it extra cozy.

The small cottage feels bright and spacious thanks to its high ceilings and a big wall full of windows.
You can close the handmade curtains at night to keep it private.

In one corner, there’s a little kitchen area with white cabinets and black countertops.
The most eye-catching part inside the cottage, though, is the beautiful hand-carved oak beams across the ceiling.

The main floor bedroom has slate tile floors and features two twin beds.
It has oak furniture that matches the warm wood accents found throughout the rest of the cottage.

Upstairs, there’s a loft with a double bed. You reach it by climbing a narrow set of stairs.
A skylight in the loft lets in natural light.

The bathroom is clean and classic. It has white tiles from the floor to the ceiling and simple, high-quality fixtures.
