The Sweeney Cottage in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee, is a charming place you’ll love.
Built in 1892, it was originally the home of Carl Sweeney’s family. Holly Williams, the owner, lived in the cottage in her early 20s.
At that time, she worked in a sandwich shop next door and also at an antique shop.
A few years later, Holly had the chance to fix up the cottage and filled it with beautiful antiques she picked out.
There are lots of fun things to do in the area. When you book your stay, Holly will give you a travel guide with all her personal recommendations for places to visit.

Enjoy a cold glass of sweet tea while reading your favorite book on the porch swing.
There are also antique green wicker chairs if you need more places to sit. This place mixes old and new things very well.
For example, the front doors from 1892 are painted a soft pink called Pink Ground by Farrow & Ball, and the frames of the original screen doors are painted a deep black called Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams.
The “howdy” welcome mat at the entrance tells you that you’re in the South.
The wooden walls and floors inside have been beautifully redone, adding to the charm of this old cabin.

When you walk into the living room, don’t forget to look up! You’ll see a cool cloud wallpaper on the ceiling called Nuvolette from Cole & Son.
If you enjoy watching movies, there’s a flat-screen TV for that. Or, you can pick a book from the coffee table, which has books from Epiphany Nashville.
The walls are painted in a color called Snowbound by Sherwin Williams, and there’s a soft pink chair across from the couch that swivels and slides.

In the kitchen, the butcher block countertops by the farm sink from Signature Hardware make cooking a joy.
You’ll love using the Bertazzoni Italian stove for cooking meals. Plus, there’s a mint green Smeg refrigerator that’s perfect for storing all your groceries.

It seats up to eight people. The polished wooden floors enhance the rustic feel of the room, and a collection of antique mirrors adds an interesting look to the walls.

The all-white queen-sized bed is a calming and peaceful part of the home.
Two pink armchairs, found in the barn of Holly’s friend, add a splash of color to the room.

A brass ceiling light from Visual Comfort & Co. adds a shiny touch. The ceiling, painted in Alabaster by Sherwin Williams, completes the look.

The guest bedroom features a cozy queen-sized bed. A special touch is a print of Holly’s favorite motto, which hangs on the wall.
There’s also a vintage abacus and a heater that add character to the room. The pine floor with its stain finish makes the space warm and inviting.

In the writing room, music lovers will enjoy seeing two Gibson guitars hanging on a wall covered with black and white wallpaper from Thibaut.
If you like photography, you’ll find framed black and white photos hanging on the original pine wall interesting.
