Working from home can be tough if you don’t have much room. That’s why Vina Lustado, who started Sol Haus Design, created her own mobile office space.
She made the SOL POD, which has 105 square feet of space and an extra 64-square-foot loft.
This space is great for different uses. It can be an office, an art studio, or even a small cottage in the backyard.
Vina’s design is bright and modern, and it was shown in Dwell magazine in 2016 because of its clever layout and cool, retro look.
The SOL POD is built with special panels that keep it warm and cozy all year.
It also has big windows shaped in fun geometric patterns that let in lots of sunlight.
Plus, you can move it wherever you need it!
Inside, there’s a full kitchen with a stovetop burner, a cool teal Igloo mini-fridge, and a small sink.
You can fit a table for two and some vintage leather dining chairs in there comfortably.
The kitchen looks stylish with a simple silver faucet and a unique honeycomb light above.
A big window over the counter lets you see outside while you wash dishes or make food. It’s nice to look at nature while you work in the kitchen.
The kitchen counters are made of butcher block, which makes the light oak interior feel warm and rich.
There’s a special cutting board that fits over the sink to give you more room to prepare food when you’re not using the sink.
A little ledge by the window is perfect for plants or small decorations that like the sunlight.
The main floor has a big, custom-built desk for two with lots of clever storage spaces.
Retro egg chairs add a fun ’60s feel to the room. A large window lets in plenty of light and gives great views from the workspace.
Behind the desks, there’s hidden storage for office supplies, files, and electronics.
There are also lots of electric outlets for charging your devices. The office is powered by solar panels on the roof.
There’s a raised floor that hides more storage space underneath.
The light hardwood floors make the office look neat and polished, matching the simple color scheme throughout.
Every workspace should have a spot to take a break. There’s a ladder between the kitchen and the workspace that goes up to a cozy loft.
This loft has windows on three sides that you can open to let in light and fresh air.
