This Sherman park model home in Texas has everything you might need.
It has more than 500 square feet of space and big decks on both sides. This home is just one of many designs made by Recreational Resort Cottages.
Adam and Rebecca started Recreational Resort Cottages in Rockwall and Athens, Texas.
They started the company in 2007 because they loved the freedom that living in an RV gives.
Now, they make different kinds of park model homes and tiny homes that can be towed.
These homes are great for people who come to Texas to stay warm in the winter (called snowbirds) and for those who want to live in a tiny home all the time.
The Sherman model has a special floor plan with the living room and bedroom looking the same.
In the front room, which is the living area, there’s lots of room for a comfortable sofa and a small cafe table.
Big windows go all the way up to the tall ceilings, bringing in lots of light and nice views.
In the middle of the home, a well-equipped kitchen is between the living room and bedroom.
It has a big sink that fits the farmhouse style and a working oven and stove for cooking meals like in a regular house.
Right across from the sink and stove, there’s a lot of sleek cabinets painted white, matching the home’s clean and simple color scheme.
To the left of the kitchen, there’s a full bathroom.
The bathroom has soapstone countertops that match the kitchen’s style, and a large double vanity that offers lots of space for toiletries and beauty products.
There’s also a small subway tile backsplash that adds to the farmhouse feel.
On the other side of the kitchen is the big bedroom. It measures 9 feet and 10 inches by 12 feet and 8 inches.
A barn door hides the closet and fits the home’s charming farmhouse style.
Throughout the house, light faux wood flooring makes the space feel light and airy.
Each end of the home has walls made mostly of windows and big enclosed decks.
There are covered porches at the front and back where you can enjoy a picnic on sunny weekends.
The home has a gabled roof that completes its classic farmhouse look and offers shade from the hot Texas sun—or wherever the mobile home is located.
