Imagine you and your best friends buying a piece of land together in a beautiful part of the United States. You all dream of building cozy, farmhouse-style vacation homes.
This is exactly what four couples, friends for twenty years, decided to do. They all wanted to live closer to nature, far from the busy lives they led at their main homes.
They created a small community called “Tiny Haven,” which they lovingly nicknamed “Farmhouse Oasis.”
These homeowners were dedicated to making their homes not just cute, but also good for the environment. Our tiny homes are designed to look like classic farmhouses. Each house has a roof that comes to a point, white walls, and welcoming front porches with rocking chairs and flower baskets.
The houses are painted in soft gray shades to add a modern touch.
When you walk into this cozy cottage, you enter a warm and welcoming living room full of farmhouse charm.
The ceiling has exposed wooden beams that give the room a rustic feel. The walls are a soft, soothing cream color, with some areas covered in reclaimed wood to add a vintage look.
In the middle of the room, there’s a big, comfy gray sleeper sofa that’s great for relaxing and hanging out. A wooden coffee table is in the center, decorated with books and a fresh plant.
There’s also a rug with soft patterns that helps define the space and adds a classic farmhouse touch.
Moving to the sleeping area, you’ll find a peaceful and comfy space made for rest.
The bedroom is separated from the living room by a pretty sliding barn door, which gives you privacy.
In the bedroom, there’s a big, soft queen-sized bed with a modern frame. It’s covered with crisp white sheets and a cozy quilt.
Soft, sheer curtains on the windows let light in while keeping the room private.
Next to the bed, there are old-fashioned nightstands with vintage lamps that give a warm light for reading at night. The walls have pictures of nature in frames.
Inspired by the popular trend of tiny homes, each farmhouse has about 500 square feet of space used very well.
These homes have everything you need: a porch, a small kitchen, a cozy bedroom, and a stylish bathroom.
What really makes this village special is its community feeling. There’s a big common area among the private homes, covering 1,500 square feet.
Here, people living in the village and their guests can gather to make great memories. This shared space includes a comfy living room, a big kitchen for cooking, a nice dining room, and a guest bedroom that’s welcoming.
For one of the homeowners, Pam Owens, living by the river at Farmhouse Oasis was like being in a fairy tale. She once said it felt like a “Disney movie.”
It turns out that Walt Disney was right when he said that dreams can come true.
