Once upon a time, there was a “hobbit” named Marigold who lived in a small but cozy house inspired by Tolkien. Her home was beautifully decorated with detailed carvings and designs that reminded people of Middle-earth.
When you walked into her house, the first thing you noticed was the kitchen. It was full of fresh fruits and vegetables, butter, and jars of honey.
The kitchen walls had beautiful paintings of barley fields, wildflowers, and scenes from The Shire. Marigold loved her copper cauldron the most.
She hung it above the fireplace and used it to make her famous mushroom stew.
Right across from the kitchen and just inside the front door was the living room. This was where Marigold liked to spend her evenings.
She would knit or read her favorite books there.
The room had a wooden table and some comfy chairs around it. Wooden shelves full of leather-bound books lined the walls.
The main feature of the room was the fireplace with its crackling fire, sitting on a stone base. Marigold enjoyed sitting on the soft rug in front of the fire, wrapped in a wool blanket she had knitted herself, reading stories about Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.
To the right of the entrance, there was a small alcove with a cozy bench and a big window. This is where Marigold liked to sew and embroider, using the natural light from the window.
She decorated the window sill with potted herbs like rosemary and thyme. The walls of the alcove were hung with tapestries showing eagles and dragons.
It was the perfect place for her to relax and think quietly after a busy day of adventures.
Marigold’s house is inspired by the “hobbit” homes from the books about The Shire. It is warm, welcoming, and peaceful.
Every room in her house is carefully designed to make you feel comfortable and at home, more than anywhere else in Middle-earth or beyond!
