Wind River Tiny Homes usually builds small houses, but they took on the exciting job of restoring a 27-foot 1973 Airstream Overlander.
The design combines modern touches with details from the Airstream’s time, like burnt orange benches.
On the outside, the Airstream has its classic aluminum siding. Inside, you’ll find clean white walls and custom wood accents.
Almost everything in this Airstream was specially made for this project, so Wind River can create unique designs for each Airstream remodel.

Inside, there is cork flooring and new white walls. The ceiling has shiny aluminum and a special hardwood accent.
Recessed lights brighten the whole space.

In the front seating area, a ceramic bust hangs on a chevron-patterned wall. Zig-zag curtains give a fun, colorful look.
There is a big, burnt orange bench that can be used for sitting or sleeping, with ’70s-style throw pillows.
A fold-down desk and a white egg chair make a simple workspace.
The walls and ceiling are covered in white shiplap siding that meets a wooden strip at the top.

The kitchen has a small sink with a high faucet, a small oven, and a stovetop.
The counters are made of butcher block and sit on clean white cabinets with simple brushed nickel handles.
A seafoam green backsplash adds color and contrasts with bright curtains.

Next to the kitchen, there is a long storage bench across from built-in cabinets and a dining area.
The walls are made of shiny corrugated metal that reflects light from the large windows on both sides.

The shower has a horse-trough tub and a rain showerhead. It also has a built-in curtain rod.
Next to it, there are storage cubbies by an aluminum pocket door. Built-in hooks provide a good place to hang a towel.

Vertical wood paneling surrounds the toilet and vanity area, which are next to the shower behind a custom chevron pocket door.
The white vanity has seafoam green glass tiles and a bowl sink on top. Brushed nickel fixtures add a shiny touch.
