John Johnson began building log homes in British Columbia, Canada, in 1969.
He started in the Cariboo region, which was famous for making log homes and sending them worldwide.
His company, soon named Sitka Log Homes, quickly became successful. Fifty years later, John’s son Brad now runs Sitka Log Homes.
The company creates luxury custom homes at their site in Canada and ships them to places all over the world.
One of these projects was in Rasen, Italy. There, Sitka Log Homes built three small log cabins for Camping Corones.
Rasen is a small town at the start of the Anterselva Valley, known for its beautiful views and natural surroundings.
These cabins are small and cozy, perfect for enjoying the area.
The chalets are made from natural materials like Douglas Fir wood and cedar roof shakes, with soft textiles inside.
They can sleep up to six people and have two bathrooms, a big living room, and a sun patio.
The living room has a cozy fireplace. There’s plenty of space for a sofa, a coffee table, and a place to eat.
The bathroom has a handmade wooden bathtub that looks great with the log walls.
It also has a white porcelain sink that adds to the country feel.
There’s a small seating area at the top of the stairs. It’s a quiet place to enjoy morning coffee by the bay window or read a book in the afternoon.
The second floor has a big deck. It’s a nice spot to enjoy the outdoors from up high.
