Couple bought an old school bus and completely transformed the inside

Candice and Todd own Kintore Coffee Co. and are very skilled at many things.

When they are not making coffee from beans from all over the world, they are usually working on their big project: a renovated bus they call a Skoolie.

Their Skoolie has a sandy beige outside and a very comfortable inside. But it didn’t start out that way.

When they first got the bus, it needed a lot of work.

To start fixing it up, Todd took out all the old seats and cleaned the dirty bus with a owerful water spray.

After that, the couple put insulation on the floor and held it in place with plastic pieces.

Todd then added a wooden layer on top of the insulation and nailed it down.

Next, they worked on framing the inside of the bus. A friend gave Candice and Todd some extra wood, which helped them a lot.

The work on the bus went on. Todd and Candice built a couch, a counter, and a sleeping area at the back of the bus.

After that, they did the less exciting jobs like adding insulation, putting in pipes for water, and setting up electrical wires.

Todd handled the framing work inside, while Candice enjoyed removing the shiny tape from the outside of the bus.

Todd put up the ceiling next and added some cool lights built right into it.

They chose a dark coffee-colored vinyl for the floor, which went over the wooden base.

They also made custom cushions for the seats they built inside the bus.

In the kitchen area of the bus, there are wooden countertops and clean white cabinets.

Close by, there’s a cozy spot to sit with a table that folds down for eating. The seats have built-in storage underneath where you can put things away.

There are also two partitions that divide the sleeping area from the rest of the bus.

After they installed all the cabinets and fixed up the mechanics, Todd and Candice painted the window frames and the back of the bus white.

They chose royal blue fabric for the bed and seats. Now, the bus feels open, airy, and ready for travel adventures!
