Tour this ’69 Airstream: You’ll want to move in

Sharing is caring!

Nathalie, Louis, and their dog Parker live and travel together in their 1969 Airstream Globetrotter.

Louis, who is a skilled carpenter, fixed up their camper themselves.

They have been traveling for almost three years and are excited because Nathalie is going to have a baby this spring.

They love to “boondock,” which means they stay in free camping spots.

The family enjoys exploring new places on their motorcycle, with Parker the border collie coming along.

When they’re back in their camper, every part of it is useful, thanks to Louis.

Nathalie made it look nice with her favorite bohemian style.

The front dinette area of the Airstream is where people can lounge, eat, and sleep.

There is a built-in bookshelf that holds lots of books for Nathalie and Louis, who love to read.

The benches have extra storage space underneath.

Nathalie bought colorful Mexican blankets from Amazon and decorative pillows from

Target to make the area cozy. They also added stylish drawer pulls from Anthropologie to the kitchen cabinets.

The camper has old-fashioned windows that let in a lot of light and show the view of where they are camping.

This makes it a great spot for reading, working, or playing games.

Nathalie remembers that choosing a layout for their Airstream was easy. The most important thing for them was to have a window above the kitchen sink.

This way, they can enjoy the view while washing dishes. Right next to the sink, stove, and burners, there’s a handy wall organizer that holds all their cooking tools.

They also have stylish copper measuring cups and a teal tea kettle from Amazon that are both pretty and useful.

Across from the kitchen, there’s a small refrigerator.

In the back corner of the Airstream, there’s a built-in platform bed under a skylight that lets them see the sky.

Next to the bed, which is near the bathroom, there are custom wood slats perfect for displaying family photos.

The throw pillows from Target match the bohemian style of the dinette area.

Having a shower and bathroom was very important to Nathalie and Louis. They built a shower stall with a unique hexagonal design next to where they sleep.

Since they often stay in desert areas, they save water by showering only twice a week and using a composting toilet.

At the end of their bed, there is a countertop just right for their new baby’s Moses basket.

They have also cleared out their bookshelf to make room for baby supplies like diapers, burp cloths, and pacifiers.
