Lindsay King loves to travel. Last year, she took a big step by buying a 2006 Itasca Spirit RV to live in full-time.
Lindsay is a digital nomad, which means she can work from anywhere she wants.
Lindsay grew up in North Carolina, but now she wakes up to a new view every morning. If she feels like moving, she’ll have a different view by night.
She travels with her two cats, Mogli and Mouse. Over the past year, they’ve explored a lot of the American West together, and Lindsay is having a great time.

When Lindsay first got her RV, it looked old inside. She has been fixing it up as she travels.

Thanks to her efforts, it has changed a lot in the past year. Now, the RV is a cozy and friendly home for her and her two cats.

When Lindsay bought her camper, everything inside was old-fashioned. The cabinets, countertops, walls, and upholstery all showed their age.
Right away, Lindsay started working to make the inside look brighter.
Lindsay installed new window shades in her RV that look fresh and clean. They pull up completely to let in lots of light during the day.
She also hung white curtains in the doorway. These curtains let her enjoy the breeze without anyone being able to see inside.

She put in wood flooring throughout the camper, which really improved the look and feel of the space.
It now feels like a cabin. Lindsay painted the cabinets white and put on new handles.
She got rid of the old wood grain style and gold handles, replacing them with something more modern.
She also added plants above the stove to bring a bit of nature inside. A flip-up countertop gives her more room to prepare meals.

Lindsay thinks her kitchen in the RV looks good, but she’s still working on making it better.
She has already changed the backsplash three times, and she might change it again.

Lindsay was worried at first about how her cats, Moglwi and Mouse, would like traveling in the RV.
But they really enjoy looking out of all the windows. They are lucky cats to have such a bright and airy home on wheels.

The dining area in Lindsay’s camper is very cozy and a nice spot to work in style and comfort.
It’s decorated for Christmas in the picture, but she keeps many soft pillows and blankets there all year.
The curtains in this area give it a relaxed, bohemian feel.

Lindsay’s bedroom has a simple style. She brought all the decorations from her old house.
Even though there aren’t many decorations, they really show Lindsay’s personality and interests.

Lindsay loves a special part of her RV. It looks like it might be a big bathroom or a kitchen without a stove, but it’s even better: It’s a vanity area in her bedroom.
This spot gives Lindsay plenty of room to get ready for her adventures and lots of storage space.
Not many campers have this much room for these important things.

Lindsay and her cats are really enjoying their life traveling in their now beautiful and comfortable camper.
The changes she made to the camper are inspiring. They show how creativity and the right attitude can help someone hit the road and chase their dreams.
