Right away, you’ll see the beautiful forest around Innermost House. It’s in a perfect spot, surrounded by old trees and rolling hills behind it.

The outside of the house looks great with its rough-sawn redwood boards that match the natural setting perfectly.

Innermost House has a big porch that faces south.
This means it gets lots of sunlight as the sun moves across the trees in front of the house.
Inside Innermost House, the main area is a cozy and elegant living room. It’s about 77 square feet (7.2 square meters).
The room is set up beautifully for talking, with two comfy chairs facing each other.
The walls are covered with plain white lime plaster that was put on by hand. This gives the walls a smooth, timeless look that makes the house feel classic.
The house is built with a method called post and beam, where the wooden frame is a key part of every room’s look.
As day turns to night, this cozy space becomes perfect for quiet, thoughtful talks, far away from the city’s noise and hurry.
There’s a lovely fireplace set up on a brick platform that sticks out into the room.
It even has a simple kettle for boiling water, because Innermost House doesn’t have electricity.
The fire is also the only way to cook food, which reminds us of how people lived long ago.

Without electricity, the house glows from the fire and candlelight, creating a beautifully elegant atmosphere.
Innermost House has a beautiful 12-foot tall cedar ceiling. The house uses natural, simple materials that make it look effortlessly beautiful.
