Kitchen Area
Our camper, Brendan, has a kitchen that’s comfortable for most people to stand up in because it’s 1.8 meters high. If it’s raining outside, you can cook on the small induction hotplate inside.

Brendan has a fridge under the bed that can hold 30 liters, and an old jam-pan serves as the sink, adding a quirky touch!
We provide everything you need for cooking and eating: cutlery, dishes, glasses, mugs for two, a sharp knife set, lots of utensils, two pans with lids, a frying pan, mixing bowls, a strainer, kettle, and coffee pot.

We also include spices, coffee, tea, herbal tea, sugar, oil, salt, and pepper. Plus, Brendan has placemats, coasters, food storage containers, and eco-friendly food wrap.

Living/Sleeping Area
Brendan features a smart couch that transforms into a bed. It’s 1.2 meters wide and 1.9 meters long with a comfy mattress. We offer bedding and towels as extras when you book, in case you prefer to bring your own.

Brendan has covered windows with coffee sacks for privacy. For entertainment, there are books, a deck of cards, and a custom backgammon set.

Water Facilities
Like all Quirky Campers in New Zealand, Brendan is certified self-contained. He has 78-liter fresh water and 62-liter grey water tanks. There’s hot water available through a heat exchange system, and a flushing toilet.

Electrical, Lighting, and Audio
Brendan is equipped with a 300w solar panel and a 2200w inverter, allowing you to be on or off the grid. He has a battery with 240 amp-hours of power for all your charging needs.
If you’re at a campsite, you can use his electric hook-up and multiple sockets. Enjoy your music with Brendan’s Bluetooth stereo in the cab and a Bluetooth speaker.

Location
Brendan is located in Kuaotunu on the Coromandel Peninsula, about 20km from Whitianga and 30km from Coromandel Town. It’s 190km from Auckland Airport.

You can park your car safely off-road at the property while you’re using Brendan. Optionally, Brendan can meet you in Coromandel Town, especially if you’re coming by the Fullers Ferry from Auckland City.
