The house has a modern design. It has a black aluminum exterior, big windows, and a sleek style. You enter the small house through the living room.
This room has a comfy sofa and a table that fits up to four people when it’s made bigger. There’s also a wooden world map on the wall that reminds a young couple of their travels.
The kitchen includes two sections with sturdy French walnut counters. It has a fridge, a gas stove with an oven and four burners, a sink, and several drawers for storage.
You go through a door with a big mirror on it to get to the bathroom. In the bathroom, there’s a small shower, a toilet, a big closet, and a washing machine.
Stairs with storage spaces take you up to the bedroom on the loft. There’s a bed and a large storage area up there. Once the house was built, Nina and Guillaume picked it up from our place.
Nina and Guillaume call their tiny house “Ala Köl,” which means “cool.” They named it after a lake they visited in Kyrgyzstan.
