The Solar Setup
Our van has everything you need to live off the grid. We made sure to include a great solar setup with plenty of 12v and 240v outlets. The van is equipped with two 275W solar panels, three 100Ah batteries for leisure use, a high-quality inverter, and a charging system.

All these were installed and checked by a professional electrician. Inside, there are four LED lights that can switch between two brightness levels to light up the van.

Practical Features
At the back of the van, there’s a big 90-liter tank for clean water. This tank is connected to a gas-heated shower that you can use outside, attached to one of the rear doors. It feels amazing to have a hot shower outside, and it’s one of the best things about the van.
There’s also a big storage area for a gas bottle in the back, and right above it, there’s a carbon monoxide and smoke alarm for safety.

The van has a lot of storage space. The U-shaped bench inside can be accessed from both inside and outside the van. One side is long enough to store surfboards and other gear for surfing or fishing. The other side has three parts, including one that holds a sturdy safe bolted to the floor.
The storage area at the back of the van has a non-slip plastic mat, which we also put in some cabinets to keep things like pans and utensils from moving around while driving.

The Pretty Stuff
We’ve put a lot of love and careful detail into converting this van. Below are some of the highlights, but it’s really something you need to see in person to fully appreciate.

The van’s interior walls are covered with white-washed wood panels that have been specially treated to protect against moisture and keep the insulation covered.
The ceiling features two new Fiamma roof vents that can open and have screens to keep bugs out. The floor is made of high-quality laminate over insulation.

The U-shaped bench can quickly turn into a super king-size bed. Just remove the pine table and its leg, and you’re ready to go—my personal best time to set it up, including the bedding, is just under three minutes!
The bed has custom memory foam cushions designed for comfort and a great night’s sleep.

Across from the kitchen, there’s a 6-drawer unit with a clear top for preparing food. The built-in kitchen boasts space-saving features like rotating storage cupboards and a tall cupboard turned into a wardrobe with plenty of room for clothes.
The kitchen also has a mini-fridge and a sleek, black two-burner glass gas stove. A beautiful old French jam pan has been turned into a sink, complete with a stylish black and gold faucet that provides hot water from a gas heater.
