We wanted to create a special space inside that uses every inch of room well, making it cozy and welcoming. The van is insulated with eco-friendly sheep’s wool and has a vapor barrier to keep it dry.
We used pretty, recycled pine wood for the kitchen floor and oak-style vinyl in the back. The counters are made of Iroko wood, and there are oak details. All of this looks great against the white walls and ceiling.
At the back of the campervan, we built a raised floor out of a light but strong metal called aluminum. This floor doesn’t bend when you walk on it. Under this floor, there are compartments for the water tank, pump, heater, and battery, which you can easily get to.
Our campervan, made in Cornwall, is like a home on wheels. It has everything you need for a short break or a longer adventure in nature. We just finished building it, but because we’re moving to a new house, we’re going to sell it.
The raised floor in the back uses the same lightweight metal and has no bounce when you walk. Just like before, everything you need is under this floor, easy to reach.
All the appliances in the van are brand new and have only been used to check if they work.

- A SHURflo water pump that sends hot and cold water to the shower and sink, and cold water to the toilet
- A Truma 4E Combi boiler for heating, with four vents
- A gas system under the van with a big tank that supplies the cooker and other appliances
- A big battery for electricity and two solar panels that help charge it
- Lots of electric controls and safety devices to manage the power
- Comfortable spots for charging your devices and using electric appliances in the kitchen and living area
- Plenty of lights in the living and kitchen areas
- A seat that turns into a king-size bed with a comfy mattress
- Lots of storage space including a spot for wine glasses and a small bar
- A small TV with speakers and a special antenna for TV and radio
- A table that you can move around
- A big closet and extra cupboards for clothes and other things
- Several windows and vents for fresh air
- An awning rail for attaching an awning outside
- Heavy-duty tires and a spare wheel
This van meets all the rules for being officially recognized as a Motor Caravan, which means it has everything needed like seats, a table, a place to sleep, a kitchen, and storage.
We’ve loved building this campervan, and it’s ready for lots of camping trips with its new owner. It’s hard to say goodbye, but we’re excited for it to be part of many fun adventures.
