We are Philip and Lidia, a married couple from Florida and Spain. We’ve been living in our van for the past five years and love surfing and skating. We’re living our California dream, always searching for the best skate and surf spots.
Over the years, we’ve traveled all across the United States, parts of Canada, and Mexico. Now, we’re getting ready to explore South America in our new 4X4 Ford E-350 that we converted ourselves.

Their van is quite amazing and has a large solar panel setup, letting them live off-grid all the time. It has everything you could want in a campervan, like an oven and fridge. Plus, the inside looks great with a clean finish.
Living in a van helps you discover more about yourself. I really recommend it, even if you’re not into skating or surfing. We’ve met people who love rock climbing or are musicians. In a small space like a van, you’re encouraged to get out and do what you love, not just sit around.
I think everyone should try living in a van for a year. It could change your life, especially if you’re young and figuring things out. It’s a way to have financial freedom and the chance to try different lifestyles.
