In April 2019, we bought an old 2002 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a long wheelbase, high top, and a 2.4L turbo engine. We finished turning it into a camper in August 2019, even though we were working full-time jobs. Now, we’re traveling and living in it full-time! We spent about $3,000 to convert it.
We usually live with electricity, but we’ve been living off-grid in the van for three months while camping. We made it off-grid to save money too.
We’ve been on the road, living and traveling in the van for three months. Unfortunately, because of the current world crisis, we’re stuck where we are right now.

We are staying safe at a campsite in Marrakesh until the storm passes, and then we’ll head back to the UK. It’s a bit sad because we had planned to keep traveling through the south of Spain and France. We thought we’d return around May, but now it might be sooner.

We’ve always wanted a different lifestyle and felt there was more to life. That’s when we found Van Life! It gave us the freedom we needed at a low cost.

Now, we live in this wonderful home on wheels that we built together. It feels like life is open and free. We’re excited to see where the road leads us next!
