Megan is an adventurous and smart woman who loves life on the road. She’s also very honest about her experiences. She works full-time while traveling, helping small businesses start and grow.
Her van, named ‘Avo,’ short for Avocado, is a 2015 Mercedes Sprinter van with a 144-inch wheelbase.
Hi, I’m Megan! I am an accountant with a creative side, trying to find my way and do things a bit differently. I work as an accountant during the day, and sometimes at night, but I always make time for adventures. I’m on a mission to show everyone that accountants can have fun too!
From September 2017 to November 2018, I lived on the road in a converted Sprinter camper van with my partner Matt. It’s been about two months since I stopped traveling. I am still thinking about my travels and learning from that amazing experience.
It feels like I’m still on a journey. One thing is clear—I’m not the same person I was when I started this trip. It’s not really me who has changed, but rather what I want from life. I still dream of many adventures.
I want to start my own successful business, raft down the Grand Canyon, camp under the stars as much as I can, own another van someday, build the tiny home of my dreams, and be part of a loving and genuine community every day. I’m working on creating the life I want.
