Robyn’s extra-wide tiny house is as delightful as she is. She chose to live in a tiny house that reflects who she is. Everyone loves how easy it is to live in her space, both inside and outside.
Robyn enjoys the community areas in “Tiny Lots on the Prairie” and loves her covered porch for extra room. Inside her tiny house on wheels (THOW), she has a big living room and kitchen, two beds, and a washer/dryer that stacks.

After her children moved out, Robyn decided to live in a tiny home on wheels. She hired someone to build her dream retirement house. She wanted a home filled with things she loves, like family treasures and fun decorations.

“I didn’t want to keep things hidden in a box, even if they were gifts from grandma or others. I display all the things that make me happy,” she says. Robyn had trouble finding a place to park her tiny house in Dallas, Texas.

She then visited Tiny Lots on the Prairie through a Meetup group. This community is an hour away from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and has seven lots. Everyone who lives there, in both the main house and tiny houses, has become very close.

It’s a place where neighbors help each other. Here, no one worries about having to leave because of a rule they didn’t follow. Robyn was so inspired by this community that she decided to help more people find secure places for their tiny houses.
She started The Bird’s Nest tiny house community, which opened in February 2020 in Cumby, Texas.
