Hi, my name is Sandy Brooks. I’m originally from Iowa but I’ve been living in Colorado for the last 40 years. Welcome to my tiny house! I’m very excited about it and I hope you enjoy it too.
I’ve been transitioning for many years; my last home was about a thousand square feet. Now that I’m retired, I’m starting over with a completely different life in this tiny house.
My dog, Zoey, sleeps under the dishwasher most of the time. She’s five years old and loves it here in our tiny home. I really love having a lot of light, so I’m thrilled that my tiny home has 12 windows, including the door. This brings in lots of light during the day.
I have a big refrigerator, which is unusual for a tiny home, but it’s beautiful. I also have a two-burner stove and a convection oven that also works as a microwave, which I love. I’ve brought my artwork into the tiny house too, and it fits perfectly right here. That’s why this fun piece is up on my wall.
