Asha Mevlana loves to play loud music. She plays the electric violin and tours with the rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra every year. She has also played music with famous singers like Roger Daltrey from The Who, Alanis Morissette, and other well-known musicians.
Because she travels so much, she keeps her things in storage units in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York.

Asha’s home is really special. She has a 40-foot tiny house built on a foundation, and right next to it, there’s a smaller music studio on wheels. The two spaces are connected by a big deck that faces the street.

This setup is designed to welcome people from around the neighborhood and sometimes, Asha even holds small concerts there.

Most tiny houses are built on trailers, but Asha Mevlana’s house has a concrete foundation and is 10 feet wide. That’s 2 feet wider than usual. This extra space allows for bigger appliances and more storage in her U-shaped kitchen, which is 13 feet by 9 feet.

Next to her house, there’s a music studio on wheels. It’s very well insulated and soundproof, making it a great place for Asha to keep her instruments, practice her music, and work on her art. The studio can even travel with her and be used for performances.

Asha is a very creative and talented person. Her small home fits her life perfectly as a successful musician and travel TV show host. It gives her a cozy place to live.
