Japanese architect Hosaka Takeshi designs very small houses. He and his wife live in a new house in the center of Tokyo. Their house is only 18 square meters big, about the size of a garage.
Inside their house, they have room for 300 books, 300 vinyl records, and a big two-door refrigerator. To make the house feel less crowded, they added two curved skylights that bring in light all day and night. They even have a bath outside.
“Everything in our house is smaller than usual, but everything works well. I’m very happy with our life,” says Mr. Hosaka.
