Imagine living so affordably that you can save money just from your government pension. That’s exactly what Peter Matheson found when he moved into his super tiny, off-the-grid house on wheels in Grand Forks, British Columbia.
Peter calls his tiny home “Mi Pad.” He first built it to explore affordable housing ideas, but soon realized he was creating a home for himself.

As a fan of alternative living, Peter cleverly got the local council to check out his home by claiming it was a new micro-home prototype from Apple, set to be showcased in Grand Forks.

This tiny home is only 125 square feet but has everything you need. It has a bed at one end, a desk area, a kitchen, and a small bathroom. Designed to be off-the-grid, it can run efficiently on solar power, although it’s not set up yet due to its shady parking spot.
