Phil Reimers, inspired by the builders of the Pacific Northwest, wanted to create his own tiny house in Tofino. As an artist skilled in woodworking, Phil took advantage of the natural resources around him, including plenty of driftwood, to build an amazing home.

The tiny house was built in a fun, fairytale style and is completely covered with cedar shingles. Its design makes it blend perfectly with the beautiful forest around it.

Phil wasn’t afraid to try different ways to power the house. In addition to traditional solar panels, he also uses a water wheel and a human-powered bicycle generator to keep his batteries charged and the lights on.
