The shipping container started as a 53-foot-long container from Canadian Tire. They cut it in half to make two identical cabins. They added foam board insulation, an electric baseboard heater, and a Sun-Mar composting toilet.
The container is about eight feet wide, eight feet tall, and 26 feet long. At one end, there’s a bed right next to the window. It has a great view, and there’s a blind you can pull down for shade or privacy.

Bigger homes aren’t always better. It’s nice to have different sizes of homes to fit what everyone likes.

The Repère Boréal eco resort is a beautiful place created by two brothers, Simon and Jonathan. Their dad originally bought the land to start a campground, but he passed away before he could start. The brothers built on his dream and made several unique tiny cabin designs.
