Chris and Malissa Tack built their own tiny house that is off the grid. They were some of the first to share their do-it-yourself tiny home project online, inspiring many people, including us.
Their tiny house is 140 square feet, built on a 7’ x 20’ trailer, and it took them 7 months to build. The cost was between $15,000 and $20,000. Now that their family is bigger, they use the tiny house in different ways.
The house has a long bench that’s 6 feet 3 inches, great for naps or watching a movie while snuggling. There’s a lot of storage space, so you can put away things you don’t need right now. There’s also a foldable desk under the TV. This gives you enough space to use a computer or eat your meals.
The kitchen is equipped with a small sink, a two-burner cooktop, and a compact fridge with a separate freezer. It’s a cozy place to relax and enjoy the tiny house lifestyle.
