Sharing is caring!

Hi! We’re Tyler and Lexie, and we want to share our adventure with our bus, “One Wild Ride.” We bought our bus from Craigslist. We were looking for one with a special door at the back because we planned to make a garage for our motorcycles.

But after a lot of planning, we realized that idea wouldn’t work. So, we decided to put a rack on the back instead.

It took us a while to find the right bus. The one we bought has a DT 466 E engine. We didn’t know much about diesel engines at first. But we learned that this engine is very strong and should last a long time. The person we bought it from had already painted it and registered it as an RV in California, where we live.

Before we bought the bus, the previous owner did a lot of work on it. He rebuilt the engine and fixed the transmission. He even put new tires on the back. We weren’t sure what to expect or how fast the bus would be.

It turns out, it’s pretty slow, but it runs perfectly. We’ve been traveling in it for about four months now, and we’ve almost had the bus for a year.

I hope you find this video helpful. Have a great weekend!
